Golden is the Grants Team Lead and Coordinator located in the NCCOS Business Support Branch in Silver Spring, MD. She is responsible for the cradle to grave management of the grants process for both the Competitive Research and NOAA RESTORE Science Programs. She serves as the liaison between NCCOS and the DOC/NOAA Federal Assistance Law Division and Grants Management Division. She also supports budget acquisitions, and provides policy guidance within NCCOS.
Golden began her grants career in 2001 as a contractor in NCCOS and has been a federal employee for more than 14 years. She received her paralegal certification in 1992 and her Grants Management Certification in 2004.
