The Governors' South Atlantic Alliance held the Southeast Living Shorelines Workshop at the National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science in Charleston on October 12-13, 2016. In an effort to expand and enhance the appropriate use of alternative shoreline stabilization techniques, the workshop focused on developinga consensus statement withkey members of the living shorelines community in the Southeast that identified and prioritized living shoreline research, policies, and outreach.
