In support of the National Coral Reef Monitoring Program (NCRMP), NCCOS helps assess the status of U.S. coral reef resources. Puerto Rico fish and benthic community data collected by NCCOS in 2019 for NCRMP are now available through NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI).

The complete titles for the data sets are as follows: National Coral Reef Monitoring Program: Assessment of coral reef fish communities in Puerto Rico from 2019-07-25 to 2019-12-31; and National Coral Reef Monitoring Program: Assessment of coral reef benthic communities in Puerto Rico from 2019-07-25 to 2019-12-31.

Each data set can be accessed directly from NCEI through the following accession links: Benthic Data and Fish Data.
