2011 Aquatic Sciences Meeting Showcases Sponsored Research

Participating in the 2011 Aquatic Sciences Meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico (February 13–18, 2011), NCCOS leads two special sessions, sponsors an additional seven special sessions plus a workshop. Fifty-five oral and poster presentations by NCCOS-supported scientists report on research advances and management applications regarding hypoxic dead zones, deep coral reef ecosystems, ecological forecasting, harmful algal blooms, and regional-scale ecosystem research.

The Aquatic Sciences Meeting Theme is “Limnology and Oceanography in a Changing World” and is sponsored by the American Society of Limnology and Oceanography.
