NCCOS Research Shared with Public at South Carolina Outreach Event

Last month, NCCOS scientists staffed an exhibit at a weekend open house for the public held by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR). The team conveyed the value of current research at the NCCOSCenter for Coastal Environmental Health and Biomolecular Research and the Hollings Marine Laboratory that focuses on theeffects of natural and man-made stressors on the health?, ?functioning, ?and resilience ?of coastal ecosystems.Approximately 1,600 visitors attended the event at the SCDNRMarine Resources Center inCharleston, South Carolina.
