2011 Aquatic Sciences Meeting Showcases Sponsored Research

Participating in the 2011 Aquatic Sciences Meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico (February 13 -18, 2011), NCCOS leads two special sessions, sponsors an additional seven special sessions plus a workshop. Fifty-five oral and poster presentations by NCCOS-supported scientists report on research advances and management applications regarding hypoxic dead zones, deep coral reef ecosystems, ecological forecasting, harmful algal blooms, and regional-scale ecosystem research.

The Aquatic Sciences Meeting Theme is ‘Limnology and Oceanography in a Changing World’ and is sponsored by the American Society of Limnology and Oceanography.
