NCCOS supports sustainable aquaculture with spatial suitability models

We have completed Aquaculture Opportunity Atlases for the Gulf of Mexico and Southern California, and are currently working on one for Alaska as well in partnership with NOAA Fisheries. We’re helping coastal managers grow aquaculture while reducing impacts to other ocean users.
