NOAA partners with SACNAS working towards more diverse STEM world

Two people stand on either side of a large, NOAA banner.NOAA, in partnership with SACNAS, is taking a giant leap towards a more diverse STEM world. The 2023 SACNAS National Diversity in STEM Conference saw a record-breaking 6400+ participants, and NOAA was right at the heart of it!

We engaged with over 400 participants at the NOAA Exhibit Booth, spreading the word about student training and job opportunities. We also hosted and participated in 7 science and professional development sessions, each attended by 120+ people. 

NOAA will keep pushing for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility by collaborating with other STEM organizations. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
