The Center for Coastal Monitoring and Assessment (CCMA) completed its seventh year of an ongoing scientific research mission on board NOAA Ship Nancy Foster. The objective of this project was to collect a multibeam bathymetry dataset with 100 percent seafloor ensonification, along with multibeam backscatter suitable for seafloor characterization in a high-priority conservation area. This report applies to surveys H12171 and H12172 that took place around the U.S. Virgin Islands in the Caribbean Basin.
