Kirk Yedinak

Prior to joining NCCOS in 2008, Yedinak had extensive experience in the home furnishings textile industry, where he honed his skills in design, development, and programming. His accomplishments include creating a software application for machine control of a variable speed, three-axis comforter quilting machine, which featured Autocad-generated sewing patterns that not only added aesthetic value but also maintained the integrity of the batting. The software boasted impressive capabilities, such as displaying real-time representations of the patterns on the computer screen during sewing and calculating sewing times with precision up to 1/100th of a second.

Upon joining NCCOS, he shifted his focus to SQL and MySQL databases, web, and mapping applications, eventually leading to the migration of in-house databases and applications to the cloud. His expertise in cloud computing has continued to grow over the past seven years, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Azure. He has extensive experience in configuring application gateways, web application firewalls, and app services.

Yedinak has degrees in Chemical Technology, Computer Science, and Computer Resources and Information Management.
