Clay treatment for HABs doesn’t harm blue crabs

Man on a dock sprays a substance into a body of water.Florida’s red tides can be deadly for marine life and costly for the state’s local economies. An NCCOS-funded project is testing a clay treatment that causes the algal cells to burst and sink to the seafloor.
