Sean Morton

Morton supports the Charleston Laboratories and the SDI Division in strategic planning, communication, partnership development, and operational support. He is also a NOAA Diver actively supporting NCCOS and other National Ocean Service dive operations.

Since 2001, Morton has served in a variety of roles at Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, and the headquarters offices in Washington D.C. and Silver Spring. Maryland. Prior to NOAA, he worked for Santa Barbara County Planning and Development Department, working on coastal planning and offshore oil and gas issues.

Morton completed his undergraduate work at University of California at Santa Barbara and graduate work at American University in Washington, DC.
