NCCOS scientists recently collected nearshore bathymetry data with an echosounder to monitor the status of the living shoreline efforts in Oxford, Maryland. Updated nearshore bathymetry data is used as an input for modeling nearshore processes such as wave conditions, sediment transport, and coastal flooding.
