Each year, NOAA’s Mussel Watch Program (MWP) targets a specific region of the U.S. with a mission to collect bivalves to assess the chemical health of our nation’s coastlines. No matter the region, the MWP works with a network of local agencies, programs, and volunteers to get the job done.
