NOAA published an Atlas identifying 77 options for Aquaculture Opportunity Area identification across 10 study areas in Alaska

With more coastline than all of the Lower 48 states combined, Alaska is uniquely positioned to benefit from growing the marine aquaculture industry. This Atlas is a powerful tool that will help to inform the identification of AOAs for shellfish and seaweed aquaculture in Alaska state waters.
