A NOAA RESTORE-supported team is investigating long-term coral reef trends in Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary. As part of this effort, scientists are using Large-Area Imaging technologies to create three-dimensional coral reef models that allow for the detection of changes in coral condition, reef structure, biodiversity, and climate impacts.
