The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) July Omnibus Competitive Grants announcement has been published for availability of grant funds for Fiscal Year 2011. Announcements of Opportunity have been issued to submit proposals to the Center for Sponsored Coastal Ocean Research (CSCOR)/Coastal Ocean Program for the Harmful Algal Bloom Program (i.e., ECOHAB, MERHAB and PCMHAB), Regional Ecosystem Prediction Program (REPP) for Understanding Coral Ecosystem Connectivity in the Gulf of Mexico-Pulley Ridge to the Florida Keys and the Regional Ecosystem Prediction Program (REPP) for Concept of Operations for Models to Support Regional Coastal Ecosystem Management.

Proposals under the HARMFUL ALGAL BLOOM PROGRAM closes 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time October 14, 2010 (Please note: Required Letters of Intent for the Harmful Algal Blooms Program are required by 5 p.m. Eastern Time, August 16, 2010).

Proposals under REGIONAL ECOSYSTEM PREDICTION PROGRAM (REPP) for Understanding Coral Ecosystem Connectivity in the Gulf of Mexico-Pulley Ridge to the Florida Keys closes 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time October 21, 2010.

Proposals under the REGIONAL ECOSYSTEM PREDICTION PROGRAM (REPP) Concept of Operations for Models to Support Regional Coastal Ecosystem Management closes 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time October 21, 2010.
