Funding Announcements Unveiled by NCCOS for FY 2012

The National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science has published two competitive grants announcements for availability of grant funds for Fiscal Year 2012. Announcements of Opportunity have been published to submit proposals to NCCOS for the Harmful Algal Bloom Programs (i.e., ECOHAB, MERHAB and PCMHAB) and the Regional Ecosystem Prediction Program (REPP): From Science to Management – Improving Management of Mesophotic Coral Ecosystems in the U.S. Caribbean.

Proposals under the Harmful Algal Bloom Programs closes 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time August 24, 2011 (Please note: Required Letters of Intent for the Harmful Algal Bloom Programs are required by 5 p.m. Eastern Time, June 27, 2011).

Proposals under REGIONAL ECOSYSTEM PREDICTION PROGRAM (REPP): FROM SCIENCE TO MANAGEMENT – IMPROVING MANAGEMNENT OF MESOPHOTIC CORAL ECOSYSTEMS IN THE U.S. CARIBBEAN closes 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time September 28, 2011.
